Who was Paganini?

Paganini has inspired countless musicians over the years, and has always been a favorite of guitarists world-wide.

Niccolo Paganini (October 27, 1782 – May 27, 1840) was an Italian violinist known for his nearly impossible feats of technical mastery. But at the same time, his passion, beauty of phrasing, and expressive capabilities left audiences in awe. His ability to combine technique and pure beauty of expression has inspired countless generations of musicians.

It is this that we strive for at Chasing Paganini; the ability to master our own techniques, along with the ability to express them beautifully. But more than that, our definition of “technique” is anything that facilitates the passionate expression of your musical ideas. It is therefore, unique to the individual.

In our own way; in our search for this combination of technique and beauty; we are all chasing Paganini.
